Role: Business Intelligence Analyst IV
Location: Chicago, IL (Complete Remote, preference to candidates in Chicago, who can travel to office 1-2x a month)

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the Distribution M&A team. The role is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, supporting key operational processes, and collaborating closely with different cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, investigate and resolve issues independently, and play a critical role in supporting the account matching and mapping process. Your work will drive informed, data-driven decision-making and help optimize processes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the account matching and mapping process ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics and support business decision-making.
- Analyze complex datasets from various sources (including Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake) to identify trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- Day-to-day work will vary, but through the week, it will include a mix of analytical requests and operational tasks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong focus on analytics
Must be proficient with:
- Strong data analysis in Google Sheet/Excel.
- Writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction.
- Salesforce (CRM) - Account, Opportunity, Reports and related fields.
- General Business Processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support).
- Fundamental IT concepts (databases, security, networking) and basic programming concepts.
