Systems Engineer Location: Camden, NJ Job ID: #71906 Pay Range: $111-148 an hour 12 Month Contract Job Description * Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following * systems engineering * software/system analysis * requirements development * verification & validation * Trade studies * modeling & simulation * integration & test * High proficiency in: * C++ (or another object oriented language) * MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and test automation * Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for task automation and CI/CD tooling. * Experience with DOORs, git, Confluence Tool Suite * Perform functional and radar performance analysis, requirements allocation, algorithm development, and/or interface definition to convert customer defined radar requirements into detailed software specifications. * Develop high fidelity models and run simulations to evaluate radar system performance * Provide individual contributor effort for the system design, and test for the RCP SCI and support agile systems engineering process including scrum meetings and sprint planning. * Execute system verification activities, integration and test, and provide support for certification and testing milestones. * Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation. * Strong written and oral communication skills; able to produce clear technical documentation and deliver concise briefings. * U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
