The Talent Marketing team helps inform and educate prospective talent, partners and our associates about life at Capital One, including our distinctive company culture, values and commitments to changing banking, and the communities around us, for good.

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Marketing Manager to be the strategic owner and operational leader for our talent attraction events and recruitment marketing initiatives, ensuring every touchpoint builds a proactive, long-term relationship with prospects and candidates

In this role you will:

Drive Recruitment Marketing Strategy

  • Design the recruitment marketing strategy in partnership with the Head of Talent Brand Experience and Strategy.

  • Embed the talent brand into all recruiter resources, marketing campaigns, and candidate-facing materials.

  • Oversee recruitment marketing operations ensuring a differentiated candidate experience.

  • Manage our Recruitment Marketing asset library (e.g., Canva) with editable marketing content for recruiters.

  • Stay current on recruitment marketing best practices, talent insights, and emerging technologies to inform our overall talent marketing strategy.

Lead the Events Strategy & Execution

  • Develop strong relationships with recruiting leads and business partner stakeholders to understand their needs in order to craft and own the overall integrated events strategy.

  • Partner with corporate communications and recruiting events teams to identify opportunities for collaboration to deliver a consistent candidate experience.

  • Oversee event platform tools and ensure our technology offers a seamless experience for candidates and recruiters; identify opportunities for event platform improvements and optimizations.

  • Define clear success metrics for each event, measuring outcomes and continuously optimizing strategies.

Elevate the Candidate Experience & Engagement

  • Partner with your peers to design the strategies that elevate every candidate touchpoint from attraction to onboarding.

  • Oversee execution of recruitment marketing campaigns and pipeline-building initiatives to enhance candidate engagement.

  • Develop talent brand training to enable recruiters and hiring managers to better position our associate experience.

Ideal candidate will:

  • Be a blend of strategic thinking, creative and analytical reasoning.

  • Serve as subject matter expert, contributing practitioner, thought leader, career guide and mentor to teams.

  • Be a collaborative, team player attitude with the ability to navigate and influence the organization.

  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track performance, drive decision making, and design scalable solutions.

  • Have a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on data.

  • Possess the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities in white space.

  • Have a track record of defining strategy, creating advocacy/alignment and being accountable for outcomes.

  • Have the ability to connect and market to prospective candidates, facilitating the strategic positioning of an organization as an employer of choice.

  • Balance exceptional program management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex, integrated strategies simultaneously.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the daily management of recruitment marketing and candidate engagement initiatives

  • At least 3 years of experience in designing, leading, and executing corporate or recruitment event strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA in marketing, advertising, or communications

  • Understanding of the recruitment process and candidate behavior

  • Talent Marketing or Branding experience

  • Strong knowledge of omni channel marketing and/or event marketing

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Marketing Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
