Join our dynamic Banquet TEAM and play a pivotal role in elevating our hotel's convention services! As a Banquet Set Up (On-Call), you will be integral to our success, providing outstanding guest service by delivering food and beverages with a smile. We value friendly, courteous, and professional interactions, ensuring our guests leave with unforgettable memories.

Essential Job Functions:




  • Prepare and set up banquet rooms according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO), ensuring layouts, furnishings, and equipment are arranged accurately and attractively.



  • Reset and break down event spaces after each function as specified in the BEO or per leadership instructions.



  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by properly storing equipment, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all banquet areas remain guest-ready.



  • Assist with the movement, placement, and care of banquet furniture, staging, decor, and equipment.



  • Collaborate with the banquet and events team to ensure seamless transitions between functions and provide support as needed.




Physical Demands:



  • Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 - 75lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
  • Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment



Qualifications:

Education:



  • High school diploma or its equivalent


Experience:




  • Previous banquet, event setup, or hospitality operations experience preferred.



  • Ability to follow diagrams, instructions, and room-layout specifications.



  • Food Handlers or Alcohol Server Certifications not required for this role unless specified by property standards
