Description
SUMMARY: The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the entire life cycle of various Community Relations programs, events, and activations including planning, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams, able to coordinate programs according to the organization's standards and passionate about programs designed to serve the New England community.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Assist in the development and execution of community outreach programs that support and promote the Patriots Foundation Pillars, including but not limited to Volunteerism, Education, Military, Healthcare, Women's Empowerment, Homelessness/Hunger, and Youth Football


  2. Assist with the planning and execution of events supporting NFL programs such as PLAY 60, Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, and Inspire Change


  3. Support the preparation and execution of the Patriots Foundation fundraising initiatives including annual Patriots Premiere, Fantasy Camp, raffles, Mystery boxes, and auctions


  4. Coordinate efforts for Patriots Training Camp, including hosting charitable groups, interacting with fans to share information about the Patriots Foundation, handing out giveaways, and promoting upcoming programs


  5. Support Community Relations initiatives on Patriots game days, including pregame and halftime programming, military flag runners, alumni appearances, silent auctions and cause related collections


  6. Special projects and assignments as business dictates


  7. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA




SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • N/A


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • 1-3 years of professional experience


  • Event planning experience preferred


  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel


  • Strong communication skills


  • Strong customer service skills


  • Good organizational skills, detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment


  • Can interact successfully with groups from diverse backgrounds


  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish


  • Ability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously


  • Team player


  • Confidentiality and discretion


  • Self-motivated


  • Ability to work nights and weekend days as needed
