SCOPE OF POSITION
OSU Harding Hospital/East Hospital-Talbot Hall provides the most comprehensive behavioral healthcare services for adults, older adults, and adolescents in central Ohio. We offer more treatment options and a more experienced and diversified staff than any other psychiatric or behavioral healthcare provider in the area. All of our outpatient, IOP, and Partial Hospitalization services include a comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis from a qualified clinician and implementation of an individualized treatment plan. We offer specialized evidence-based services for patients experiencing Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Psychosis, Trauma- and Stress-Related Disorders, and Sexual Dysfunction. We offer specialty programs in Womens Behavioral Health, Addictions, Trauma, and Neurocognitive Disorders. Talbot Hall provides the most comprehensive addiction services for adults in central Ohio, offering specialized evidence-based services for patients experiencing a Substance Use Disorder. We offer traumatic brain injury specific treatment, the latest Medicated Assisted Treatment for opiate and alcohol use disorders. We offer Detox, Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization and many Outpatient and continuing care groups. The Behavioral Health Clinician 3 serves as a critical part of our clinical team; they are an independent provider who functions within the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to provide counseling and psychotherapy. Patients and their family will experience the benefits of patient-focused care through the integrated skills of all treatment team members.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the clinical supervision of an independently licensed social worker (LISW), professional counselor (LPCC), and/or licensed independent chemical dependency counselor (LICDC), the Behavioral Health Clinician 2 is a clinical and education position, including, but not limited to:
Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for patients with mental health complaints.
Provide counseling/psychotherapy to individuals with mental amp; behavioral disorders to facilitate return to previous or improved functioning. Services provided include individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and/or couple/family therapy.
Formulate individualized treatment plans to assist patients to determine and meet treatment goals.
Other duties include advocating within local community if needed; work as part of clinical team; maintain third-party payer relationships; and complete all necessary paperwork (e.g., disability, FMLA).

This position will require a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 7:00am-3:30pm.

Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling or related field; Ohio license to practice (i.e., LSW, LPC, and/or LCDC-III) is required. Eligibility for future independent licensure required. A minimum of 1-2 years of Pre or Post-Masters training and experience in working with patients with mental illness and/or substance disorders is also required. Experience via an internship prior to completing Masters level education may be considered. Experience with completing mental health amp; crisis assessments, case-management, and conducting evidenced based psychosocial interventions preferred. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
