Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Marketing Director to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to lead a high-performing team in developing and implementing marketing strategies aligned with business goals, creating high-quality marketing campaigns and assets, and executing flawlessly. This position collaborates across the organization to build brand and solution awareness and drive leads to the top of the sales funnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development and execution of marketing strategies to increase brand and solution awareness, drive leads to the top of the sales funnel and attract top talent.
  • Direct the design, management, and oversight of all promotional and digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, content marketing, and advertising.
  • Ensure full understanding of Acentra Health offerings and solutions to direct the development of clear, persuasive, and articulate messaging and content across a variety of media and formats. Research clinical, technical, or business topics as necessary to ensure complete and accurate content.
  • Direct the production of high-quality, error-free, short- and long-form content.
  • Oversee efficient processes for the review and approval of content. Ensure compliance with claims, disclosures, industry/regulatory reviews as needed, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to research and adopt new channels, methods, and platforms that optimize marketing, brand awareness, and earned media.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and strategy teams on enablement (playbooks, pitch decks, case studies) and develop new channel strategies and materials for audiences such as brokers and consultants.
  • Direct the development and execution of conference, tradeshow, and client event strategies, from pre-event promotion to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with team members on website design and generation and maintenance of content for all audiences. Implement effective web content and optimize search for engines and generative artificial intelligence platforms.
  • Review market research and competitor analysis to generate actionable insights and inform marketing and content strategy adjustments.
  • Work closely with sales, product development, operations, strategy, and other teams to ensure cohesive strategies and business alignment.
  • Participate in development of and ensure adherence to brand and writing style/usage guidelines and product and unit naming conventions.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring high-quality, timely, and efficient execution of projects.
  • Create, manage, and monitor the annual marketing budget, ensuring responsible expenditure and maximizing return on investment.
  • Track marketing performance, measure campaign success, and present findings and recommendations.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Communications, English, Marketing, or similar)
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications within a healthcare or insurance organization, or 15 years of relevant experience in a combination of healthcare or insurance settings

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop marketing teams to achieve ambitious goals
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and lead the team through evolving challenges
  • Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent writing skills, as demonstrated through writing samples provided during the interview process.

  • Candidates will be required to complete a writing assessment as part of the interview process.

  • Ability to develop long-term plans and translate business objectives into effective marketing strategies
  • Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to bring to life complex concepts and data in a way that is meaningful and easy to understand
  • Demonstrated success building integrated campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue
  • Excellent editing and self-editing skills; meticulous about clarity, structure, and grammar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and build consensus, as well as align and communicate with executives, supervisors, and team members
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, including proficiency with marketing analytics tools and metrics
