Business Analyst 1

This position manages the training program for the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN), a computer system utilized by criminal justice agencies. As a Business Analyst 1, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, and evaluating the CLEAN training program, which includes traveling throughout the Commonwealth to conduct training classes for a variety of audiences. You will need to create and revise training materials to reflect the current body of knowledge and best practices for relevant subject areas. This position requires collaboration with federal, state, and local program representatives to identify training needs and coordinate class schedules. In addition, you will provide technical support to users working with the CLEAN system. After analyzing technological issues, you will work with business partners, contractors, and vendors to identify possible solutions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position requires travel across the Commonwealth, including occasional overnight stays.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.

• You must obtain an active Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Police within the probationary period and maintain the same for the duration of employment in this job.
• You must pass the PSP Instructor Development Class.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
