Summary

This position will be responsible for requests (both written and verbal) for assistance from potential bidders, agents, or investors regarding utilization of our company website and processing. This position requires the delivery of superior customer service through fast and accurate communication. This position will also be responsible for managing a heavy flow of customer inquiries via email and phone.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with bidder, agent or investor registration regarding explanation of terms of use, user eligibility, fairness doctrine and fees and services.

  • Educate bidders, agents and investors of auction processes including property notification, bidding, auction dates, site features.

  • Update internal systems of records as needed including property contacts, details and photos.

  • Learn and adapt to website features in current state and as updated.

  • Handle complaints, provide solutions and alternatives to website and/or bidding issues based off customer or agent feedback.

  • Articulate customer or agent website and/or bidding issues to management and I.T Department and assist with resolution.

  • Maintain records of customer interactions.

  • Assist as needed with data entry, email and phone communication.

  • Provide status updates and reports when scheduled or requested.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of associates and management, as well as with the public and outside vendors

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple objectives to meet client deadlines and department goals.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy driven environment.

  • Possess solid business acumen with the ability to make complex and time sensitive decisions within the best interest of the company.

  • Commitment and ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • No previous experience required.

  • 2+ years' office and computer experience preferred.

  • 2+ years' customer service experience preferred.

  • Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 / hour

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location.

Physical Demands and Activities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; occasionally position self to maintain files; occasionally moves boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
