Job Overview

The Sr Manager Solutions Architect is an experienced and seasoned Solutions Architect with a broad range of technical skills, and a deep understanding of software design patterns and technologies used in complex solution development. This individual will have experience in the full software development life cycle and experience in designing and rolling out complex IT solutions. In addition to serving as a subject matter expert and guiding technical design and code development across multiple concurrent major projects, this role includes direct management of developers, providing mentorship, oversight, and technical leadership to ensure high-quality delivery. They will also act as the lead developer in implementing key solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Technical Lead - Create high-level architectural specifications and initial design for solutions and lead or oversee implementation of key initiatives and provide direct management and oversight of developers to ensure high-quality execution.
  • New Product Development - Defining new product requirements ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems, platforms
  • Knowledge Lead - Proactive knowledge transfer, coaching, and mentoring of development and architect team in regards to technologies and systems, and business processes
  • Promote Development Standards - Promote software principles, strategies, and architectures as defined by the Enterprise Architect (GiT, archiving process, JIRA, web technologies, etc.). Identify improvement recommendations to Enterprise Architect to achieve best practices and high performance
  • Technology Research - Research and evaluate commercial technology solutions and consumer product process trends to identify opportunities for improvement at Data Ventures
  • Assembly and presentation of technical information and trends to Enterprise Architect and assist in communicating to project teams and DV leadership team where needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge and experience inComputer Science and Information Technology
  • Ability to successfully complete technical assessments demonstrating expertise in full-stack web development using technologies such as Angular, Node.js, SQL, and Git. Additional relevant skills include proficiency with Linux environments and familiarity with AI technologies.
  • Prior architecture or lead developer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (4 years)
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology

Work Environment

4 days in the office, 1 day remote
