Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to join our team, with the opportunity to grow into a Reporting and Auditing SME. Reporting to the Manager or Section Manager, you will support the development and enhancement of reports using Oracle Utilities Analytics (OUA), leveraging data from the Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) system. You'll work closely with contractors, business units, and internal teams to gather and document reporting requirements, test and validate reports, and ensure data accuracy. You will also coordinate with the CORE OUA and CC&B Data Pull Teams to meet reporting needs while maintaining high standards of customer service and data integrity. This role offers a strong foundation in reporting and analytics with a clear path toward subject matter expertise in auditing and data governance.

- Responsible for ensuring compliance of SOX and Regulatory reporting requirements for New York and New Jersey are adhered to. Also responsible, either directly or with assigned resources, for testing and sign-off upon turnover of completed OUA report changes and enhancements.
- We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated individual to support the discovery and approval of changes and enhancements to new and existing OUA reports. Responsibilities include reviewing Business Process Documents, Functional Specification Documents, and Test Case documentation. This role ensures all modifications meet our high standards of quality and functionality before the implementation of new report of report changes.
- We are looking for a dedicated individual to facilitate communication and coordination between business stakeholders and project teams. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, ensuring clear communication, coordinating with departments, monitoring progress, reporting status, and ensuring quality assurance. The ideal candidate will track various work items including change requests, provide updates, address issues, and collect feedback post-deployment to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) teams to thoroughly assess and enhance system processes, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Responsible to collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation proving completeness and accuracy of production report results, including documenting findings and communicating results or any corrective actions to resolve any identified issues with Manager.
- Responsible for collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders including vendor resources, internal resources, business areas, and Quality Assurance to stay current on functional solutions and approaches for the Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) system as they relate to required updates or changes to OUA report mapping and logic. Assist stakeholders in preparing Process Change Request documentation and provide business case data and analysis for proposed OUA report changes. Participate in issue triage and provide inputs that can aid in effective solution identification, & performs other related duties as assigned. Participates in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
- Responsible for meeting with Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) system Section Managers and Managers to inform them of the status of requested system changes and enhancements. - Assist User Provisioning team with user onboarding, certification campaigns, audits and process enhancements & oversee user account creation, maintenance, and, ensuring appropriate access levels and security protocols are maintained.
- Support user provisioning activities by creating, modifying, and maintaining user roles and groups to ensure appropriate access and segregation of duties (SOD) compliance. Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to validate compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI to monitor user provisioning activity, access trends, and compliance metrics, writing and executing SQL queries to analyze access data, identify anomalies, and support audit requests, utilizing Power Automate and other automation tools to streamline routine provisioning processes, reduce manual effort, and improve turnaround time.
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and compliance partners to address access-related inquiries, resolve issues, and support operational needs. Maintain accurate documentation of processes, workflows, and controls related to access management. Provide support for user onboarding and offboarding, including large onboarding events. Identify opportunities for process improvements in user provisioning, audit controls, and reporting.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years related work experience
- Associate's Degree and 4 years related work experience
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years related work experience
Relevant Work Experience
- Related work experience must include experience in at least two of the following business areas: General Accounting, Finance, IT, Customer Operations, Regulatory/Compliance, Engineering or a related organization, User Provisioning and Role Based Access, Customer Operations, Support Operations, Information Technology or a related organization, required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, required.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines, required.
- Must be able to work effectively with all company departments, various levels of management and third party vendors, required.
- Must be able to organize and plan workloads for projects and employees, required.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Required, with experience in auditing and in analyzing data from systems like OUA, Power BI Publisher and SQL Developer, required.
- Must have experience in technical writing and experience in developing procedures and system or process specifications, required.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate and other Power platforms, & Experience with auditing, including SOX, preferred.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Oracle products such as Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), OUA and with Windows environments and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), preferred.
- Experience with IAM platforms (SailPoint, Active Directory), preferred.
- Experience with Customer Service processes, preferred.
- Experience in Auditing, Communication Management or Quality Assurance, preferred.

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able and willing to travel as needed.
