Widener University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting in the School of Business Administration. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, this role involves instructing undergraduate and/or graduate students in accounting courses, conducting scholarly research to meet tenure requirements, and serving on departmental and university committees. The Assistant Professor of Accounting (tenure-track) in the School of Business Administration will teach undergraduate and graduate courses across all areas of Accounting, delivered in a variety of modalities including in-person, online, hybrid, and distance education. The educator will employ innovative teaching methods and demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting the diverse learning needs of students. The faculty member's expertise, specialization, and pedagogical training will contribute to advancing the department's mission and vision. This is a tenure-track position, meaning the Assistant Professor enters a probationary period generally lasting up to seven years during which they work toward earning tenure.
