About This Role
K-State's College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work, is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support a current research project. This Research Assistant supports a social science research project through data collection, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and development of written research outputs. The role requires independent judgment while conducting interviews, surveys, and analytical work, as well as active participation in project planning, coordination meetings, and dissemination efforts. About Us The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work works with Geography to explore how people, places, and environments shape one another. Our programs combine award-winning teaching with hands-on research that helps students and scholars understand human experience, social and spatial dynamics, and global challenges. Through interdisciplinary research at the intersection of society, nature, and technology, we strive to produce knowledge that positively impacts communities and contributes to a more sustainable world. Worksite Description This position is On-site. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho. What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications:
