*Product Owner / Hybrid (Bellevue, WA) / (24 Month Contract)*
This role is for a Product Owner specializing in OpenText Extended ECM. The person will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for enterprise content management systems, focusing on migrating data from legacy platforms and implementing Extended ECM for Engineering to support CAD integration and document control. The Product Owner will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring compliance, governance, and optimized workflows. Strong experience in ECM architecture, metadata design, and Agile delivery is essential. *Preferred Qualifications* * Knowledge of SAP integration with OpenText Extended ECM. * Experience in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals). * OpenText certifications (e.g., Content Server, Extended ECM). *Top Required Skills* * *Must be local to the greater Seattle, WA area. *Will be required to work onsite 3 days per week. * *Expertise in OpenText Extended ECM - *Deep knowledge of OpenText Extended ECM, including architecture, metadata, taxonomy design, and integration capabilities, to define product vision and deliver optimized ECM solutions. * *Migration Leadership and Data Governance - *Proven ability to lead migrations from legacy document management systems into OpenText Extended ECM, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance and regulatory standards. * *Stakeholder Engagement and Agile Delivery - *Strong communication and collaboration skills to gather requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and manage priorities using Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). *Job Description* * We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise in OpenText Extended ECM and proven success in migrating content from legacy document management platforms. * The ideal candidate will drive product vision, strategy, and execution for enterprise content management initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and optimized workflows across the organization. * Experience with Extended ECM for Engineering is important for this role. *Key Responsibilities* * Product Ownership & Strategy * Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities for OpenText Extended ECM solutions. * Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors. * Ensure alignment of ECM capabilities with organizational goals and compliance requirements. * Migration Leadership * Migration of data from legacy document management systems into OpenText Extended ECM. * Develop and oversee migration strategies, data mapping, and validation processes. * Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during migration. * Implement and optimize Extended ECM for Engineering to support CAD integration, engineering document control, and collaboration. * Work closely with engineering teams to streamline workflows and ensure compliance with industry standards. * Stakeholder Engagement * Gather and prioritize requirements from cross-functional teams. * Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. * Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demos. * Governance & Compliance * Ensure adherence to information governance, security, and regulatory standards. * Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness. *Required Qualifications* * Expert experience as a Product Owner or similar role in enterprise content management. * Significant hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM and related modules. * Proven track record of migrating content from other document management platforms into OpenText. * Experience with Extended ECM for Engineering and integration with CAD systems. * Strong understanding of ECM architecture, metadata, and taxonomy design. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
