Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of cancer services within the organization, ensuring the highest quality of care for cancer patients. Oversees clinical, operational, and financial performance to enhance patient outcomes and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Works closely with clinical teams, physicians, and administrators to implement best practices in cancer care and to drive program growth.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: Leads the strategic planning and development of the hospital's cancer services, aligning with overall hospital goals. -Oversees cancer care delivery's clinical and operational aspects, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. -Manages departmental budgets, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring financial sustainability. -Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure evidence-based practices are followed. -Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service efficiency. -Ensures compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards for cancer care services. -Leads cancer program growth efforts, including expanding services and building key partnerships. -Monitors patient satisfaction and service performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.
