Job Title: DRT Technologist

Location: White River Junction, VT 05009

Shift: Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts; 8-hour and 12-hour schedules; Weekends as needed

Duration: Full-Time Position


Position Overview

  • We are seeking a qualified Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) with strong technical skills and experience in advanced radiologic applications. The technologist will perform a full range of imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, general diagnostic exams, portable radiography, and operating room support.


Role & Responsibilities:
Clinical & Technical:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging including fluoroscopy, general x-ray, portable radiography, and OR imaging.
  • Prepare and administer contrast materials under radiologist supervision for various imaging studies.
  • Assist physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety.
  • Monitor patients during exams and respond promptly to any adverse reactions.


Quality & Safety:

  • Ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Record radiation dose data for applicable procedures.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and equipment handling protocols.
  • Report equipment issues promptly and support routine quality assurance.


Patient Care & Workflow:

  • Verify patient identity and review radiology orders for accuracy.
  • Register, complete, and document exams within the radiology information system.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure proper upload to PACS.
  • Prioritize workflow to accommodate both scheduled and emergency exams efficiently.


Administrative:

  • Maintain exam logs, documentation, and required reports.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.


Required Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Degree in Radiologic Technology.
