The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Computational Biology and Medicine/AIML and Human Genetics The Center for Excellence for Computational Sciences is a data driven division of Roche/Genentech with a mission to revolutionize how targets and therapeutics are discovered and developed, ultimately enabling novel treatments for patients across the world. Computational Biology and Medicine (CBM) and Artificial Intelligence for Biology & Translation (AIBT) are two departments within this division that collectively work to apply new methods and approaches to the analysis of biological and clinical data. This summer, CBM and AIBT, along with the Department of Human Genetics within Research Biology, are looking for a joint summer intern focusing on one of two inter-related projects:
In both cases, the primary focus would be on projects impacting our current collaborations with Immunology, and in particular COPD and IBD. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, CA and is onsite/hybrid. The Opportunity

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
