Role Title: Regional IP New Energy Pricing and Tendering Manager Location: Central & North America DGFF Industrial Projects: DHL Industrial Projects (IP) is part of DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) Integrated Solutions specialized in handling project logistics, such as single move or ad-hoc shipments, capital projects and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) including global multi-supplier management, from pick-up through consolidation and delivery to fabrication facilities and final project jobsites. This culture permeates every aspect of our operations, ensuring we uphold the highest standards to deliver unparalleled service worldwide Job Purpose: Implement plans and processes as part of the IP New Energy Team pricing & RFQ/tender management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines and policies Principal accountabilities:
- Implement the execution of plans and processes to implement the IP pricing strategy
- Manage in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
- Execute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations
- Prepare and submit relevant documents for tenders
- Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
- Build and secure business relationships with customers
- Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
- Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
- May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions
- Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to IP pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
- Conduct comparison and profitability analysis on renewable energy projects to ensure data-driven, competitive rates to support pricing decisions
- Collaborate with global and regional sector heads in new energy and IP offices to align structures and commercial goals
- Monitor pricing performances, such as win rates, margin, and quote turnaround time, and propose corrective actions
- Participate in weekly (or ad-hoc) meetings with the Renewables team to review workload, discuss open and pending tasks or tenders, and ensure alignment on priorities and progress
- Maintain and update Renewables GRT reports and folders to ensure accurate and organized record management
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of the new energy market dynamics
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- An eye for detail and ability to interpret complex data
- Ability to simplify complex tender calculations
- Experience with basic chartering terms
- Good contractual understanding
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
- 6 years of experience in project logistics and preferable with experience in renewables
