Software Engineering Intern ROV

Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid-May to early August). As an intern with our Austin Software group, you'll work to assist in our remote operated vehicle program

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with mentors to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

ESSENTIAL :

• Carries out tasks as assigned by Engineering Lead and the Software Development Manager. Tasks would generally be C++ development and documentation.
• Interface inside and outside a meeting setting with project team members and clients.

REQUIRED:

• BS, MS or PhD candidate at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in DevOps, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience with GitHub
• Must be a US citizen or legal Permanent Resident

DESIRED:

• Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with constantly shifting schedules.
