Job Description

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the division's quality management systems to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards. The role serves as a key resource for quality investigations, customer claim resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition to quality responsibilities, this position supports divisional safety programs to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure a safe work environment. Safety responsibilities complement the quality-focused work by promoting consistent standards, structured documentation, and strong process adherence across the operation.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and EPA standards.
• Ability to conduct safety training on various topics (forklift, crane safety, general safety standards).
• Strong understanding of safety documentation and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of steel industry products, processes, and quality systems.
• Skilled in lean manufacturing principles and environmental/quality management systems.
• Ability to conduct audits, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred; Associate's Degree acceptable with equivalent experience.
• 2-3+ years of experience in safety, quality, or related roles.
