Description A Bridge Tender monitors maritime and railroad communication channels from vessels and railroad units indicating a desire to pass. Accountabilities Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, contractors and/or customers and effectively handle conflict situations Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications - Required Applicants must have reached the age of 18 or above. Experience reading and understanding instructions (examples may include: operating and safety rules, bulletins, special instructions, and federal regulatory documents) Qualifications - Preferred Physical and Mental Job Requirements Work Conditions Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
