Position Title: Custodian
Wage: $18.56 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Custodian position available at a company in St. Charles, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Custodian Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Clean and maintain floors, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas. - Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down surfaces, and clean windows. - Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal. - Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. - Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, reporting safety issues). - Maintain cleaning equipment and request supplies when needed. - Assist with setup/breakdown of workspaces for special events. - Occasionally assist with exterior maintenance or grounds upkeep. - Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Custodian Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred. - Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, but training provided. - Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and walk for extended periods. - Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely. - Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. bridgeton@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
