Position Title: Quality Inspector
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Join a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing team in Fenton, MO where your attention to detail and inspection expertise ensures world-class quality. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform first-article, in-process, roaming, and inspections on precision-machined parts. - Use a wide range of measurement and inspection tools daily-this will make up 90% or more of your role. - Support additional quality department tasks as needed. Quality Inspector Requirements: - Ability to read and interpret engineering prints. - Proficiency with measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread plugs, and plug gauges. - Strong attention to detail in both documentation and measurement. - Excellent visual acuity. - Ability to stay focused and perform accurately amid distractions. - Efficiency-driven mindset. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. - Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. - Ability to read and follow SOPs, specifications, and forms. - Quick learner / highly trainable. - Strong, reliable attendance. - Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) preferred. - Background in machining (Quality or Production) preferred. creve-coeur@qpsemployment.com IND143 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
