Position Title: Enclosure Assembler
Wage: $19/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an Enclosure Assembler for a company in Richmond, IL. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Enclosure Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assemble electrical and mechanical enclosures using hand and power tools - Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions - Install components such as panels, brackets, hardware, wiring trays, terminal blocks, and gaskets - Drill, tap, cut, and modify enclosure parts as needed based on customer or engineering requirements - Ensure proper fit, alignment, and sealing of enclosure components - Perform basic wiring tasks such as routing cables, mounting hardware, or preparing leads - Inspect completed enclosures for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling - Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks or overhead lifts when needed - Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area - Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedules and order deadlines Enclosure Assembler Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior assembly, mechanical, or electrical experience preferred - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or simple wiring diagrams - Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching - Commitment to safe work practices - Manufacturing or assembly floor environment - Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
