To support the ongoing business growth of the Salem location, the practice is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of 10 employees.

What you'll do:

As a full-time Optometrist at All Family Vision Care, you'll care for patients Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, performing comprehensive eye exams, recommending vision-enhancing products, and educating patients about their ocular health. You'll have the support of advanced diagnostic tools, including Optos and OCT, and collaborate closely with a dedicated team of clinical professionals in a patient-centered environment that prioritizes education, prevention, and personalized care plans. Serving between 35 and 45 patients daily, our practice delivers a wide range of expert eye health services to individuals of all ages. Whether patients need new eyeglasses or treatment for a specific eye condition, our optometric team is committed to providing state-of-the-art, personalized vision care to maintain healthy eyes and clear vision.

Who we're seeking:

All Family Vision Care is seeking an Optometrist who is dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care services while building strong relationships with patients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses excellent clinical and communication skills, both verbal and written. You should have the necessary clinical expertise to accurately assess and diagnose a range of vision and eye health issues, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate treatment. Strong communication skills are vital for clearly and compassionately conveying complex medical information to patients of all ages. Additionally, proficiency in electronic health records is important for efficient documentation and coordination of care within the clinic. Preferred qualifications include experience in specialty areas and knowledge of advanced diagnostic tools, allowing for comprehensive and tailored care. Cultural competency and bilingual abilities in Spanish are also desirable, as they enhance patient engagement and satisfaction in a diverse community. This full-time position operates from Monday to Friday and offers a sign-on bonus, medical insurance, paid time off, a production bonus, malpractice insurance, and a continuing education allowance. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
