Genesis10 is seeking a Finance/Accounting Professional for a 6 month contract position with a mortgage loan corporation located in McLean, VA. This position requires being onsite Monday through Friday.
Summary:
- Identify any variances from all daily banking and cash reporting for Multifamily, including ACH management, wire transfers and ensure that all negative positions are resolved within divisional and corporate policies time frames.
- Handle bank reconciliations for Multifamily controlled bank accounts. Work with accounts payable, to ensure appropriate accounting for all Multifamily expense payment transactions.
- Implement and assist with maintaining the Multifamily Cash Management team policy and procedure documentations by performing reviews and updates on a scheduled basis or ad hoc as required.
- Support projects and initiatives that arise for cash management department; serve as a department User Acceptance Tester (UAT)
- Track cash movement activities through in-house proprietary systems and external cash
- management banking applications.
- Assist with all counter-party reviews and validations as precursor to wire instruction setups and maintenance.
- Reconcile internal records to monthly GL entries and/or bank statements
- Business Analysis:
- Assist with maintaining the Multifamily Cash Management team's policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to work optimally in a team environment
- Customer Service/Support:
- Serve as a departmental day-to-day contact for stakeholders in Corporate Treasury, external banking and other parts of the Multifamily Division Finance/Loan Servicing
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly is required.
- Ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a team and is flexible.
- Candidate must have experience in wire transactions, reviewing wire transactions, operational mindset, and industry experience.
