In addition, its renewable geothermal plants use steam generated deep below the earth's surface to produce clean, renewable electricity. ***This role is not fully remote and requires 3 days onsite in Houston, Texas. Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) The IS Analyst is responsible for supporting cybersecurity operations, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure initiatives across both IT and OT environments. This includes managing Splunk deployments and logging infrastructure across plant sites, overseeing the CrowdStrike Falcon console for policy tuning, alert triage, and endpoint visibility, and assisting in incident response planning and remediation through SOP development. The role also involves tuning Fortinet alerts to improve visibility for legacy systems, communicating technical updates and guidance through email and Teams collaboration, and working cross-functionally to ensure secure and compliant operations across the enterprise. Daily participation in cyber risk and threat intelligence briefings with the CSOC team and support for governance efforts such as NERC CIP and TSA IT GRC are also key responsibilities. In addition to these core duties, the IS ANALYST works across all 14 cybersecurity technical disciplines and provides leadership and guidance to the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Security Operations Center. This requires a broad understanding of security tools and frameworks, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a robust and resilient cybersecurity posture. May require 6-8 years of experience in the specialized field with additional experience in other IT areas. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Typically reports to a manager. Additional responsibilities will be gathering design, coordination, testing and support of customer intelligence reporting and the analytic needs. May work as a liaison between IT and Business to ensure proper testing is done to meet requirements. May assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of a particular policy. Identify and implement best practices to communicate and publish. May Coordinate and lead business requirements gathering meetings with management and business users of the company. Possibly ensure that relevant documents of system set up and working practices is established and maintained reflecting any changes as a result of development. Will Providing support and training associated with the operation of the systems, including induction and refresher training and arranging externally provided training if required.
