Responsible for supporting the RAMS Department by managing materials, equipment, and administrative processes in compliance with NRC, Federal, and Palo Verde regulations. Key responsibilities include:

HS/GED and 3 years related experience. Major Accountabilities
1) Prepares corrective and preventative maintenance work orders, which comply with NRC and Palo Verde guidelines and procedures.
2) InitiateS PR's for equipment sent off-site for repair. Maintains appropriate files and records. Follow up with vendors to ensure equipment is received on schedule. 3) Records new equipment, incoming and outgoing equipment in Bar Control. Tracks equipment throughout time in the lab. 4) Runs daily Bar Control reports and notify responsible parties that equipment is due for calibration. Generates CRDR's as necessary on equipment overdue and update Bar Control and SIMS. 5) Generates Out of Tolerance Notice (OTN) as appropriate for out of tolerance conditions discovered during M&TE calibrations. Assigns CRDR priority and ownership per established M&TE usage reports. 6) Determines and assigns priorities for work orders. 7) Issues CRDR's on equipment used for quality related W/O's that are overdue for calibration. 8) Verifies and updates new PM due dates, intervals, frequency and status. 9) Inspects equipment being returned from vendors. Completes appropriate portions of (VOC) Verification of Calibration form. 10) Updates and maintains work order and department databases. Export Compliance / EEO Statement

Any PVGS employees may be called upon for random Fitness for Duty (FFD) testing during scheduled working hours. Employees, if off-site, must report to FFD at Palo Verde as soon as reasonably practicable, but no more than 120 minutes after being notified. Employees who are onsite when notified will have no more than 60 minutes to report after being notified. | |
