We're currently hiring a Logistics Coordinator at our De Soto, KS facility!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour w/ shift differential

Summary: As Logistics Coordinator at Wagner Logistics, you'll be the face of our company, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Your role involves promptly and courteously responding to inquiries, efficiently processing orders, and skillfully handling any complaints that may arise. Additionally, you'll take charge of vital administrative tasks like precise data entry, managing phone calls, coordinating appointments, and supporting various clerical duties as needed. What You'll Be Doing:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage daily schedules for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient load planning and warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams to optimize labor utilization and dock scheduling.
• Utilize WMS and other logistics software to track shipments, scheduling, and warehouse workflows.
• Monitor and adjust schedules based on real-time operational needs, shipment delays, and volume fluctuations.
• Communicate scheduling updates with internal teams, customers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, warehouse safety, and company policies.
• Identify process improvements to optimize scheduling efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Generate reports on warehouse scheduling efficiency, labor utilization, and shipment performance.
• Prepare and compile reports as instructed by management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Uphold a clean and well-organized office environment to facilitate efficient workflow.
• Ensure all records and documentation is compliant with all CTPAT and FTZ requirements.
• Utilize OpenDock software for all inbound/outbound truck scheduling and door management.
• Foster excellent relationships with customers and colleagues by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Report customer feedback promptly and comprehensively to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction.

What You Need:

1. A. Education: High School diploma preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of one year of direct experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

• Proficiency in general office tasks, including telephone etiquette and computer skills in customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clear and concise interactions.
• MS Office, specifically Word & Excel.
• Strong numerical skills, including accurate counting and basic math calculations.
• Legible handwriting and organizational prowess for effective task management and multitasking.
• Capability to comprehend written policies and procedures and follow oral instructions accurately.
• Adaptability to evolving operational demands and customer needs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation while using a computer.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of lightweight objects or materials, such as office supplies or packages.
• Fast-paced office environment with frequent interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Moderate noise level due to phone calls and conversations.
• Regularly use office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
