Extraction Operator

A Day in the Life:

Job duties include but are not limited to: working in a soybean processing facility as an Operator who will be responsible for all aspects of the soybean processing, lab duties, and control room, which could include load out, elevator, and extraction tasks.The position also requires participation in all sanitation, housekeeping, environmental, safety, and emergency guidelines in all areas of the facility.

Position Details:

12 hour rotating shift, 10am-10pm.

Hourly pay rate: $29.92

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate all aspects of soybean processing.
• Know and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.
• Keep all work areas buildings and grounds clean, at all times.
• Actively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to take instruction and follow directions
• Comfort working safely in high places and confined spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must show initiative and demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• Strong reading and writing skills
• Positive attitude
• Good attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED
• Background in agriculture
• Strong mechanical skills
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
