Synchron is seeking qualified candidates to support the Navy's Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Warfighting Development (OPNAV N7). OPNAV N7 is charged with advancing Navy Warfighting advantage in order to deter, dissuade, and deny or defeat adversaries. OPNAV N7's mission and functions follow three broad, interrelated lines of effort supported by a digital platform: warfighter development, warfare development, and warfighting corps development. Through these lines of effort, OPNAV N7 will enhance individual learning; accelerate institutional learning; and broaden and deepen our warfighting knowledge to help the Navy overcome strategic challenges.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to selected fellows across academic and industry fellowship programs.
  • Assist in the management of communications, report processing, travel administration, and liaison to OPNAV support structures for pay, information technology access, Pentagon access, and security clearances.
  • Provide program support for supported fellow and scholar Navy programs and supported external programs.
  • Assist in the execution of the programs and providing program support for selection of seminar program nominees, including all aspects of announcements, receipt and processing of applications, and support to the selection board.
  • Provide program support of fellowship and scholarship program review, establishment, disestablishment, and modification in support of changing Navy education needs and requirements, including tracking of established scholar, development and review of relevant metrics, and assembly, analysis, and presentation of records, trends, and other data.
  • Other tasks as assigned



Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Four (4) years of progressive Military experience, to include personnel or educational programs
  • Associate's degree or equivalent coursework (or additional commensurate experience)
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent coursework.
  • Experience with administering personnel and education programs within, or in conjunction with, the military personnel management system.
  • Fluency and familiarity in Defense and Naval terms and organizations.
