OBJECTIVE: The Label Control Coordinator is responsible for managing the release of product labels to Production, as well as reconciliation of label quantities, in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Control the approval and distribution process for labels to Production, adhering to company procedures.
  • Inventory control for labels, ensuring correct count for labels used and labels in stock.
  • Ensure correct inventory in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information system.
  • Create and distribute paperwork packets for Production and Mixing.
  • Assist with Quality Control Technician duties as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, QSR's, ISO 9000, OSHA and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instruction.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet established timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to bend at waist.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
  • Vision ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
