Job Details:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Create multi-year outlooks, annual strategic objectives, and quarterly initiatives, communicating each to relevant stakeholders while building alignment and providing assurance of accountability.

* Support the development and achievement of annual Business Themes and annual Plan objectives as a member of the APEX Team, with specific accountability for Orders, Sales Opportunity pipeline management, and Customer Satisfaction.

* Develop an effective and sustainable Sales Operations team capable of supporting customers with complex interconnect challenges via hiring, training, coaching / mentoring, compensation and providing on-the-job development opportunities.

* Build departmental performance measurements (Key Performance Indicators) and associated reports to effectively implement strategies, provide objective feedback on progress, identify improvement initiatives, and achieve annual Plan objectives.

* Create, own, govern, and communicate robust orders forecasting methodologies that dynamically consider legacy business, recent quotes, market dynamics, customer feedback, and sales opportunities.

* Collaborate with Growth Sales personnel in development of account maps, customer targeting strategies, and Strategic Account Plans, while ensuring Sales Operations staff lead associated forecasting elements.

* Facilitate, with guidance from legal, Product Management, and Executive Leadership, the establishment and implementation of Long-Term Agreements or Pricing Agreements with select customers.

* Engage personally with "executive level" contacts at key customers to better understand market-based customer service expectations, navigate complex Sales Opportunities, gain competitive intelligence, understand why we are winning/losing, and ensure Orders growth.

* Regularly facilitate cross-functional activities, grounded in quantifiable customer feedback and Sales Opportunity Win/loss analysis, that ensure the organization is consciously and effectively offering our value proposition, market expected responsiveness, and industry leading delivery performance.

* Foster strong relationships and transparently collaborate with both Executive and Leadership team members to help drive sustainable profitable growth, support cross-functional goals, and maintain culture.

* Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance, typically with departmental processes & tools, with legal obligations as well as Angelus' QMS, ISO/AS and ITAR requirements.

Sales Application Engineering

* Leverage and improve prioritization tool and procedures to enable Sales Application Engineers to manage urgent and important Sales Opportunities, maintain a healthy conversion rate, and maximize "WINs".

* Manage the Sales Opportunity pipeline by requiring hearty customer relationships and ensuring CRM systems accurately reflect nuanced details, SMART action items, associations (programs, partnerships), and meticulous opportunity details.

* Stimulate continuous improvement in the application knowledge base, technical proficiency, and solution development tool sets to ensure the Sales Application Engineering staff achieves "Trusted Advisor" status.

* Support staff in proposing, typically with business cases that outline risk and ROI, contracts, market-based pricing, lead-time, and/or other creative considerations to progress substantial Sales Opportunities.

* Ensure the Sales Application Engineering team is highly engaged with Product Management, Engineering, and/or Project Management when Sales Opportunities require new product development, unique investment, or substantial testing.
