Asphalt Paving Superintendent

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Asphalt Paving Superintendent. This position plays a key role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of asphalt paving projects, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and helping the Operations Manager achieve project goals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, paving operations, or related fields, and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide administrative and operational support to the Asphalt Paving Operations Manager.
•    Assist in coordinating daily paving operations, including project schedules, logistics, and resources.
•    Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion by tracking milestones and deadlines.
•    Manage communication between teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
•    Maintain accurate documentation for paving projects, including work orders, reports, and safety records.
•    Assist in maintaining and tracking equipment inventory, including scheduling maintenance and ensuring equipment availability.
•    Help resolve any operational issues that arise during the course of a project.
•    Participate in safety meetings, ensuring that safety protocols are followed on job sites.
•    Assist with cost control and budget monitoring for paving projects.
•    Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (preferred).
•    2+ years of experience in construction, paving operations, or a related role.
•    Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes, equipment, and safety standards.
•    Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
•    Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
•    Knowledge of industry regulations and standards is a plus.
