Learning & Development Program Manager

Overview:

Manages a specific L&D program/pillar, collaborating with L&D leadership to ensure learning experiences are relevant, data-informed, and aligned with firm priorities. Responsible for curating and maintaining structured learning paths in respective L&D program/pillar that align with the firm's strategic goals and role-based competencies, including but not limited to licensure, continuing education requirements, design innovation, leadership development, and industry compliance. Seeks opportunities to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and contributes to learning & development solutions that build the adaptive capabilities needed to drive business performance and lead transformative change, today and into the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development for respective L&D program/pillar to enhance effectiveness of employee education in achieving the firm objectives
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders on the strategy and execution of learning programs
  • Works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create learning that aligns with firm objectives
  • Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans in collaboration with L&D team
  • Curates and maintains structured learning paths for respective L&D program/pillar in collaboration with L&D team, including aggregating and organizing existing learning materials from multiple internal and external sources (e.g. prior trainings, vendor content, and SME resources)
  • Leverages established metrics and data (e.g. performance trends, engagement metrics, and needs assessments) to inform program design, optimize learning paths, and demonstrate measurable impact
  • Designs and facilitates high-impact workshops that build capabilities in respective L&D program pillars
  • Provides individual coaching to support performance, skill development, and career progression
  • Applies continuous improvement mindset to learning operations, using learner feedback, data, and best practices to evolve programs
  • Collaborates with the broader Talent team to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with team and firm objectives
  • Supports efforts to effectively implement new initiatives and processes
  • Supports individuals with day-to-day L&D questions and requests as needed

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning Design and Technology, Adult Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field preferred
  • Typically with 6+ years of experience in professional development, coaching, facilitation, and leadership development within a corporate environment
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certification in Adult Learning and Training & Facilitation preferred
  • ICF Certified Coach (ACC, PCC, or MCC) preferred
  • Gallup Certified Strengths Coach preferred
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or higher preferred
  • DiSC, MBTI, or similar Certified Facilitator preferred
  • Crucial Conversations Certified Facilitator preferred
  • SLII Certified Facilitator preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other talent development
  • Experience with eLearning software (including Articulate 360)
  • Strong understanding of modern learning and development models and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Ability to hold sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
  • Travel may be required
