The role requires an experienced Infrastructure Advisory Consultant with a background in economic appraisal, business case development, and strategic advisory services across multiple geographies including the UK, US, and Canada. The successful candidate will have deliveredcompliantstrategic outline and full business cases, conducted socio-economic baselines, led stakeholder engagement processes, and coordinated multi-agency projects. Experience in transport-oriented development, urban regeneration, and complex infrastructure planning, combined withstrong communicationand project management skills, ensures the ability to provide executive-level assurance and performance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring & Reporting



  • Contribute tothe design and implementation of themega eventExecutive performance framework, ensuring alignment withclientand programobjectives.





  • Ensuretimelydelivery of executive reporting requirements, providing clear, evidence-based updates to senior leadership and oversight bodies.





  • Oversee real-time monitoring duringthe event, ensuring rapid escalation and resolution of issues.





  • Coordinate with workstreams, strategic advisors, and external partners to ensure integrated reporting across the program.





  • Support transparent communication with business, community, and public stakeholders through reporting outputs.





  • Oversee the development and refinement of executive-level performance plans, ensuring readiness foreventtime operations.





  • Support operational readiness exercises, ensuring reporting systems are tested and resilient.



Governance & Compliance



  • Ensure Executive reporting processescomply withclientgovernance requirements.





  • Provide assurance that outputs areaccurate, auditable, and aligned withevent-time operational commitments.





  • Support the drafting of governance documentation, funding agreements, and compliance materials.



The individual selected for this role brings:



  • Provenexpertisein business case development, economic appraisal, and large-scale infrastructure advisory.





  • Experience in transport planning, urban regeneration, and complex project delivery across multiple geographies.





  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus and deliver results in politically and socially complex environments.






  • Demonstrated ability to deliver under high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions, ensuring operational excellence for events of global significance.





  • Effective communication and coordination skills, with experience managing multi-agency projects and programmatic risk.

At Mott MacDonald, we provide a comprehensive benefit package that includes 401k, medical, dental and vision insurance, short-term/long-term disability, paid holidays, PTO, parental leave and company paid life insurance.

The expected salary for this position is $108,000- $132,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
