Position Summary
This position serves the Administrative Supervisor and the Director of the Center for Computational Chemistry. It provides general administrative support for three research groups by submitting purchasing and reimbursement requests and helping coordinate special lectures. This position will also provide support for Scientific journal Editor/Reviewers/Authors.

Familiarity with Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Organized. Comfortable driving large SUV.

Duties/Responsibilities
High level of support to Director in day to day operations of center. May include preparation of Travel Authorities, Expense Reports, and Purchase orders; Annual reports, Grant reports, etc. Off-campus errands, filing/keeping of records, maintaining CV, biographical and academic records for Director, editing presentations, coordinating letters of recommendation. Maintains inventory of office supplies. Submits reports to Director. Creates UGAMart requisitions.

Duties/Responsibilities
Main admin for Director's scientific journal accounts. PCCP Journal Editorial Administrator. Daily preparation of new manuscripts/materials for review. Making decisions on behalf of Editor, including accepting/rejecting manuscripts. Corresponding with authors, referees and other PCCP Administrators. Assistant to Director for Scientific Journal Reviewer accounts. Submitting reviews on behalf of Director, as well as manuscripts for publication, provides submission assistance to CCQC research staff and graduate students. Maintaining records of center manuscripts: in progress, submitted, in review, and accepted.

Duties/Responsibilities
High level of back up and aid in coordinating events and center visits. Aids in coordinating seminars, receptions, dinners. May include working events after hours. Initiating/submitting reimbursements in OneSource, UGARF and UGAF systems. Booking hotels, misc. travel and creating itineraries for visitors; maintaining inventory of event supplies. Purchasing event supplies.

General office maintenance. Assisting students and visitors. This may include answering the phone, updating the center website, running errands, copying, faxing, shredding, etc.
