You will be the finance expert on your businesses, partnering with brand management and cross-functional partners to deliver on brand strategies, balance the business model, and achieve operational targets. You will proactively support the business with leadership on product innovation, pricing strategy, scenario planning and much more. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Bring thought leadership and an objective perspective to influence and shape business decisions
  • Deliver financial targets by consistently tracking performance, closing gaps and investing in winning ideas
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional team and indirectly influence to deliver results
  • Partner across functions to build cost savings strategies and pipeline of ideas
  • Provide insightful financial modeling on innovation, renovation and other ad hoc projects
  • Lead monthly BU MBR Process, including content preparation that enables quick decision making and actionable next steps

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to deliver strong results through partnership
  • High learning agility and ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to synthesize data and provide accurate, meaningful analysis to influence business decisions
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn
  • Unquestioned ability to maintain fiduciary responsibility
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, most notably Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of Finance Systems (SAP, AFO)
  • Experience with P&L modeling along with forecasting
  • Experience working on a cross-functional team
  • Prior experience or exposure to commercial finance roles

Salary Range



The salary range for this position is $81000.00 - $121700.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Beyond base salary, General Mills offers a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall well-being.
