Main Duties & Responsibilities
Shift - Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday
5:40pm - 6:00am
- Is
fully responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Production Area
for their shift.
- Manages
and provides leadership for the functional group's development, direction,
and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes,
and supporting overall business and corporate objectives. - Creates
development plans for associates and provides honest and constructive
performance feedback. - Responsible
for all training for their team, ensuring it is complete and on-time. - Ensures
operations schedules are met within budget through appropriate use of
human and technology resources, scheduling and effective problem
solving. - Plans
and implements organizational changes within area of responsibility.
Recommends changes to other areas that will improve overall effectiveness
of the operations and/or quality group. - Maintains
consistency in issues related to company policy, practices and
documentation. - Coordinates
work assignments within the production department that includes training,
technical support and/or process/trouble shooting
support. - Responsible
for throughput and schedule obtainment. - Create,
monitor and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in a timely fashion,
with regards to Production. - Maintains
all data management and entry into relevant systems. Understands how it
relates and drives Key Performance Indicators
(KPI). - Works
with internal resources to resolve problems. - Is the
Production Area Subject Matter Expert (SME), and represents production on
projects and audits, when needed. - Is the
point of contact for engineering and other support functions. - Ensures
adherence to department policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and
environmental health and safety requirements. - Assists
with writing and developing Work Instructions and Procedures for the
Production area, ensuring a standardized process is maintained across all
shifts. - Facilitates
and leads group meetings. - Interfaces
and coordinates with support departments. - Must
be flexible with work schedule. - Responsible
for all aspects of the production side of the Work Order from start to
closure. - Track
Machine Operator attendance and manages Paid Time Off (PTO) requests. - Calculate/track
scrap totals and ensures the totals are recorded in IQMS (ERP System)
accordingly. - Actively
participates in the Weekly Gemba Walk Team and tracks/manages the findings
within IQMS. - Perform
general 5S activities daily and manages the weekly 5S Audit Report. - Clearly
communicate production / quality issues across all shifts and departments. - Additional
duties, as assigned
On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, CO location.
Qualifications
2 years of injection molding or manufacturing experience
preferred
* Requires experience in manufacturing operations environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge and maintained competencies in all areas defined at
the Production Lead level or equivalent experience preferred.
* Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma practices preferred.
* Knowledge of managing in a regulatory environment preferred.
* Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and ERP
Systems is required.
* Ability to understand and analyze data.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required, but preferred.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $72,000 - $83,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
