The Arch Energy Intern supports project teams in advancing energy and decarbonization objectives across various job sites. This role offers hands-on experience in safety administration, risk monitoring, subcontractor coordination, and daily project documentation within a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Assist in the execution and support of energy and decarbonization projects to advance sustainable construction goals.
  • Support the administration of project safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
  • Review and document risk management activities, continuously monitoring and reporting on potential project risks.
  • Accurately record subcontractor daily work, coordinate the gathering and distribution of project information, and maintain high-quality project documentation.
  • Participate in weekly project meetings to stay aligned with team progress and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the project team to support overall project success.

Required Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of energy efficiency principles, decarbonization strategies, and construction safety protocols.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn project management software and scheduling tools.
  • Basic knowledge of risk management processes, including documentation and mitigation support.
  • Capable of managing project documentation, data collection, and subcontractor tracking.
