Under minimal supervision, plans and executes digital product strategy, technology/product development, technology and/or product support and/or customer engagement strategies in support of the company's product and service portfolio.

Essential Functions

Journey Design & Technical Implementation

* Decipher journey business requirements to formulate a technical journey solution for the business problem.

* Create the Journey Canvas and configure Setup, Enter, logic flow, and Exit criteria.

* Configure Emails, Touchpoints, Automation, Queries, and Notifications in the technical platform.

* Setup Personalization (using cloud-based marketing automation platform), leveraging coding and platform expertise.

* Configure Splits and Decisions within the overall journey flow as part of Journey Canvas design.

* Lead marketing technology projects related to the utilization of marketing tools, providing leadership and technical solutions.

* Draft Blueprint documents based on the planned build.

* Drive journeys through the governance process, including writing and submitting CAB (Change Advisory Board/Control) requests and responding to follow-up questions. Data Management & Segmentation

* Define & manage Data Extensions schema (or similar database structures).

* Utilize a good understanding of data management, audience segmentation, and using SQL for querying data.

Development, QA & Reporting

* Build and update build template components for the email content library.

* Test solution prior to production, including using test contacts.

* Test outputs of testing branches.

* Validate audience counts and split distribution against BRD (Business Requirements Document) expectations.

* Build custom reports for journeys.

* Expert Proficiency in a Major Marketing Automation Platform (MAP): Experience with full-cycle campaign development, administration, and configuration in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Adobe Journey Optimizer, Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot, or Pardot.

* Strong SQL/Data Skills: Proven ability to write and optimize SQL queries for segmentation, data extraction, and troubleshooting within the MAP environment.

* Coding Expertise: Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email development, with knowledge of platform-specific scripting languages (e.g., AMPscript, Liquid).

* 3 years of hands-on experience in email development, marketing automation, or a similar technical role.

* Demonstrated experience in translating Business Requirements into technical campaign architecture.

* Location in Dallas TX or Memphis TN area considered a plus

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience in marketing, finance, computer science, engineering or related business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years experience in a digital marketing or digital product management environment or demonstrated knowledge gained through coursework or work experience in digital product marketing, management, or technology support.

More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Strong ability to understand business and customer needs, customer/user experience management, product analysis and technology capabilities.

Technical acumen.

Strong collaboration, communications and analytical skills.

Pay:

Additional Details: This position will be remote. This position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
