As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols appropriate for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and granting entry based on established procedures.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Assist with crowd management and help to de-escalate situations as needed within the healthcare setting.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and patients.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
