"I can succeed as a Global Travel Coordinator at Capital Group." We're seeking a Global Travel Coordinator to lead the operational delivery of our corporate travel program. This role connects internal teams with external travel partners, drives innovation through AI and automation, and supports global initiatives that enhance traveler experience, compliance, and program performance. Ideal candidates bring strategic thinking, tech-savvy execution, and a passion for optimizing travel operations on a global scale. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the operational liaison between internal stakeholders and external travel partners (e.g., Travel Management Company, airlines, hotels) and monitor performance against key performance indicators and contracted service levels. Maintain and optimize travel booking tools and platforms. Partner with and manage key business partners and vendors to ensure optimal performance and service delivery Develop and maintain effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders and partners Re-engineer operational processes to leverage AI and automation. Contribute to the development and rollout of global travel initiatives, training, and communications. Track and analyze travel data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvements. Support travel risk management efforts, including traveler tracking, emergency response coordination, and health/safety protocols. Organize travel engagement initiatives and education activities for CG associates to support program goals (e.g., travel fairs, hotel partner presentations, training). Oversee invoice processing and vendor performance metrics, leveraging automation where possible. Produce strategic dashboards and reports to track performance, compliance and sustainability.

You have 3+ years of experience in corporate travel management, with a preference for global program exposure and vendor oversight. You have proven ability to manage relationships with travel vendors and partners, monitor performance against service-level agreements, and drive accountability through data-driven insights and collaboration. You are skilled in Concur Travel and other booking platforms; familiarity with AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies in travel. You have strong program and project management capabilities, with proven success in driving cost efficiencies, enforcing travel policies, and resolving complex issues. You are adept at data analysis, benchmarking, and applying innovative solutions to optimize travel operations. You have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-making. You are knowledgeable in global travel regulations, risk management, safety and security protocols, and digital transformation trends. You demonstrate sound judgment, challenges the status quo, and proactively identifies opportunities for program enhancement.
New York Base Salary Range: $88,080-$140,928
Orange County Base Salary Range: $76,882-$123,011
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $80,098-$128,157
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
