Entry-Level Service Technician - Des Moines, IA | Hobart Service

We're hiring an Entry-Level Service Technician to provide on-site service, maintenance, and repair for our customers in the Des Moines area. Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $21.70 - $29.30/hr (based on experience)
• Shift: 1st shift | Includes on-call, after-hours, weekend, and holiday availability

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service basic mechanical commercial food equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment under service agreements or time-and-material work
• Perform and document preventive maintenance tasks
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to support company goals
• Maintain tools, service vehicle, inventory, and equipment
• Stay updated on equipment, parts, and industry standards

What You Need

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of mechanical or electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
