Job Title: Call Center Representative

Job Summary:

The Call Center Representative is responsible for handling incoming calls from various sources, determining the nature of each call, entering data into the system, and taking appropriate action. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in data entry and computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Determine the nature of each call and take appropriate action, including opening, updating, dispatching, ordering parts, closing, or canceling service calls.
  • Interface directly with end-user customers to maintain positive relationships and address their needs.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Directors, and Customer Engineers to update call information as necessary.
  • Redirect calls that are mistakenly routed to the Call Center to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Handle requests received via email and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with other office duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resolving inquiries and issues satisfactorily.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel.
  • Data entry skills with the ability to type accurately and efficiently without looking at the keys.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred.
