Primary Function

The Case Processing Supervisor oversees all administrative and case management functions supporting detention facilities. This role ensures compliance with federal standards, supervises case processors, and coordinates with personnel to maintain accurate records and timely processing of detainee cases.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor case processing staff, ensuring adherence to detention standards and facility policies.
  • Assign workloads, monitor performance, and conduct quality assurance reviews of case files and data entry.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to detainee case files and data management systems.
  • Verify compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Serve as primary liaison with personnel, consulates, and legal representatives for case-related matters.
  • Oversee detainee communication logs, grievance tracking, and escalation of urgent issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure all case processing activities comply with privacy laws, FOIA/PA, and detention standards.
  • Prepare and submit case status reports, dashboards, and monthly performance summaries to COR.
  • Conduct onboarding and refresher training for case processing staff.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures to validate work products and maintain consistency of standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in case management or correctional administration.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a secure facility environment preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other relevant languages) preferred.
  • Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in database management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • May require evening, weekend, or on-call hours.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, resided in the U.S. for 3 years in the past 5 years.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Detention center experience.
  • Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.
  • Ability to travel.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • Work is performed in secure detention facility settings and office environments, including austere conditions.
  • Requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and operational oversight.
  • Visual acuityrequiredto complete paperwork and computer work.
  • Exposure toemotionally challenging situations and high-stress environments.
  • Ability to work in a high-security environment and manage sensitive information.
  • Must complete provided training on case processing and supervisory responsibilities.
