Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to work in a dynamic environment? Staffmark is hiring for an Estimator and Detailer position for a thriving company in Abilene, TX! This role is perfect for someone with strong math skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for project management. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility for overtime as needed) Pay: $20/hr. Key Responsibilities: Receive and process estimate/bid requests via email Communicate with contractors from start to finish Follow up on outstanding bids and track success rates Verify awarded project files for accuracy Ensure all scheduled materials meet project plans/specifications Confirm pricing and request updated quotes when needed Prepare and submit material submittals for approval Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in project management, estimating, or a related field. Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret documents and write reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Comsense is a plus. Solid mathematical ability, including calculations for proportions, percentages, and geometry. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to standardized procedures. Background in warehouse or construction is helpful but not required. Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on company policy.
