Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Coordinator for the Quality Resources Services Department, at Monmouth Medical Center.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in a health related field required.
  • Three to five years healthcare experience required.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, management, and technology skills.
  • Must demonstrate team building and collaborative practice behaviors.
  • Must demonstrate understanding of performance improvement and quality outcomes management

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift, Per Diem

Essential Functions:

  • The Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with assigned areas to facilitate peer review, promote patient safety and support regulatory compliance.
  • The Coordinator will report program metrics to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • The Coordinator will perform chart and in person audits to ensure compliance with mandatory requirements.
  • The Coordinator will work with specific assigned areas to understand and promote performance improvement within those areas. Participation in organizational meetings.
  • Preparation and participation in regulatory surveys. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc
