We are currently seeking an exceptional Supply Management Specialist here at Incora.

TheSupply Management Specialist requires technical supply chain expertise. Being accountable for managing the supply of parts to satisfy customer service, specified inventory, cost management, and quality levels where applicable. The role will communicate the status of materials within the total supply chain to the wider business. This function provides the main interface between the company and the supply base, developing and building strong relationships and driving process improvements. The team supports company needs through the management of a global supply base aligned with defined business parameters.

About You:

  • Manage the day-to-day supplier relationships, including visiting sites when required, to ensure process adherence and that supply chain signals are effectively implemented.
  • Build long-term rapport with suppliers to resolve delivery performance issues and influence delivery to meet customer demand.
  • Report on supplier performance in line with company procedures and provide data input into business reviews.
  • Where applicable, Supplier Management Specialist will also assist with obtaining quotes for competitive bidding; recommend sales awards or contracts, act as a backup to generate Purchase Orders and provide general logistical support for the buying team.
  • Where applicable adhere to all policies and regulations relating to product sourcing, governed either by legislation, customer specific contractual requirements or company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate supplier delivery data through orderbook management and review, analyzing supplier backlog and upcoming deliveries to meet customer requirements.
  • Participation in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
  • Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers occur
  • Other duties as necessary.

More About You:

  • Strong communication skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and/or external customers.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data, in a related field or combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to make sound procurement recommendations and decisions, Procurement Certification preferred.
  • Ability to maintain an effective liaison with vendors, management, staff, and co-workers.
  • Ability to learn and gain knowledge of the integrated procurement and database systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel, as needed; strong Excel skills required. Experience with GEAC / JDE Oracle preferred.
  • Previous experience in the skill of establishing and maintaining positive and effective
  • Clarity of communication - presenting internally and externally at highest level
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently. Respond with urgency to all critical purchase requests accurately and efficiently, within approved guidelines.
  • Communicate frequently with senior department personnel, Sales, Customer Contracts Representatives, and Suppliers; must have ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and concisely with all internal and external contacts.
  • Competent critical thinking skills and discretionary decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to consistently meet or exceed departmental goals and objectives accurately and efficiently, and to finish assigned tasks or projects on time.
