WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
What's the job? Ensure achievement of strategic, business and financial objectives for assigned lines of business within the Siding Products Group. Guides product management actions, defines pricing strategy and drives sales and marketing of CertainTeed and/or Private Label brand portfolio. Determine end user and distribution customer needs and develop new, innovative products and services, targeting 'Industry Firsts.' Similarly, through 'Voice of the Customer' activities and competitive benchmarking, partner with NPD and Operations to develop product line extensions. Develop volume and share goals by product line by region and track ongoing performance. Provide direction to sales, manufacturing, NPD, customer service, finance and marketing to execute plans and programs. Drive product development projects in support of new business development activities for products across channels. Accountable for managing overall product profitability for both existing and new product lines, as well as defining and tracking sales results for new product launches. Operates with wide latitude for independent judgment and entrepreneurial decision making. Retail Operational Excellence:
